How to make a copy of a dialog created earlier?

Postby liofin » Tue Mar 24, 2009 4:51 am

Is there a way to copy a dialog created earlier (under different name)? I was unable to figure out how to do it.
When I use New-->Other, and select one of available types of dialogs BCB creates a new one which is not based on a TForm but, somehow, on a dialog class I created earlier.

How to change a Form dialog is derived from? I would like to have class newDlg : TForm { ...} but instead I have class newDlg: createdEarlierDlg {...}. I can do it manually by changing .h, .cpp, and .dfm but is there a simpler way?

Anyway the major issue is how to copy already developed dialog in a tool. I have no need to use 'inherit' option.
