June 2013 Developer's Poll

Post by Damon »

The old TServerSocket and TClientSocket are so deprecated that I didn't list them. Please choose "Other" if you still use these.

Thanks in advance for your votes!

I think this poll should have used checkboxes instead of radio buttons. I can only speak for myself, but my apps use either Indy, TClientSocket/TServerSocket, or direct Winsock, depending on the nature of the app, which version of the IDE it was developed in, how library dependencies (or lack of) are set up, etc. I imagine that many people are the same way, so I don't think there is one single answer for all apps within a given organization.
