First Post - doubt

Postby muek » Thu Dec 23, 2004 4:22 pm

Hi this is my first post. 8)

I would like to congratulate the moderators of C++ Builder Develop's Journal, for this great site.

I'm having some problem with my application :shock:

I'm using TClientSocket / TServerSocket in a simple aplication.

The problem that I having is that, when a send some data too close in time, the data arrive all together :(

Example:
C->SendText("hi");
C->SendText("everyone.");
C->SendText("bye");

now i would the data arrive in the same order, and separated
string = S->ReceiveText();

string appear like: "hieveryone.bye"

and I would like it appear like:
"hi"
"everyone"
"bye", in diferent strings :roll:

thanks for any help
PS - english isn't my 1º language, so sorry for the mistakes, please correct them, and tell me :wink:

Hi, muek;

A better place for this question would be in the Technical forum but here goes anyway. It sound like you want a new line feed for each string you get. Something like
Code: Select all
C->SendText("hi\n");
C->SendText("everyone.\n");
C->SendText("bye\n");

This would create the output you desire.
